January was a big month...

These are in no particular order since I can't remember what I did this morning let alone what I did three months ago. I am really not cut out for blogging...

I remember we had a great time with a visit from Ama and Apa. Apa helped Daddy put together a hutch for his work bench. I seem to recall at one point something wasn't working out and Rich thought it should be taken apart and put back together to which Steve responded, "I'm going inside, let me know how that goes." Or something along those lines. Together they were able to fix the problem without reworking the entire process from scratch.

We did manage to get out of the house and take in some of the sites. Mitchell at gymnastics.

Watching aircraft at the local airport.

Mitchell making the potty sign.
Sundial bridge
Turtle Bay Botanical Gardens

(Here Mitchell is goosing the lady bug!)
Playing at Kid's Kingdom.

And of course we got some quality play time at home.

Here are some miscellaneous shots from the month of Mitchell just being cute...

Oh yes, and Mitchell turned 2!!! So we celebrated with cake.

And stickers...
And a new red wagon...Mitch has since figured out how to use it luckily for the Cookie Monster.

Some of the birthday wrapping was quite creative.

We spent some time back at mommy's home in New Mexico. We visited friends

And family...

More December 2010

Rich forgot just one very important picture from December...a picture of our baby girl. All indications from the ultrasound are good and we are looking at a due date of May 6th. We've landed on the name Stevie May to honor some of our best friends and grandmothers. It's also cool that she'll share a name with a rock legend.

December 2010

Niki has asked that I up date the blog for you all. I will do my best to do as good of a job as she does.
December brought a lot of visitors. First Mitchell's best friend Austin came to play.

We moved from Seattle to California to get away from the rain. As it turns out....It rains in Redding A LOT!

Mitchell got an early Christmas present from "Ama" and "Apa" Haton, his very own leather chair. He loves it. I'm sure you'll see him in it often in the future.
Niki and Mitchell...and Elmo went to the dentist. Mitchell didn't cry once...and either did Niki or Elmo.

"Apa"-Skip and "Ama"-nana came to visit. The first thing Mitchell wanted to show them was his favorite park, called Kids Kingdom.

Nita had a GREAT time!

Mitchell and "Apa" Skip got some good quality time in the mornings before everyone else woke up.....almost everyone....someone had to take the picture right?

"Three Kings" very cool!

Did I mention he loves his chair.

And then Santa visited.

January will be posted soon.
