Rich wrote Stevie a nice happy birthday note for her to see when she woke up. She had several presents that she got to open first thing in the morning. And then she requested chocolate chip oatmeal.

Catch ups

Hi there all. Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Phone issues! Here's some catch ups.

Recent visit from Grammy Jane

These days  Stevie sometimes needs naps, sometimes doesn't need naps, and sometimes thinks she doesn't need a nap but she actually does. Here she fell asleep while watching TV with daddy.

All in all things are going well. Stevie is about to turn three, yikes! Her interest include dressing her Barbies, putting her babies to sleep, dancing and singing, and looking for bugs outside. Mitchie is not quite 5 1/2 and his interests include playing board games, building airplanes with Legos, and practicing his high jumps over his toy light saber. Rich has begun studying for his American Critical Care boards which he will take at the beginning of August. I just started training to run a half marathon in October; so for the next several months when you talk to me it will be all about how many miles I ran last time, and how many miles I'm running next time. I'll try not to get boring about it. XOs

Putting up Christmas lights

Today we put up Christmas lights at our house. We pulled out our reindeer and Stevie took right to him. The kids "helped" put together some of our display pieces. They did a good job watching daddy put up the lights. And at one point they even took a break on our patio to do some painting.
